From Rags to Riches

If you're like me you may have several old tee-shirts, jeans in the closet that are too holey to wear anymore.  While it's sometimes hard to let these old friends go, it feels good to know I can turn these rags into riches and help the environment at the same time!

When you think about the benefits it's a no brainer:

• Save trees - If every household in the United States reduced their consumption of paper towels by 1 roll per week if would save 544,000 trees! WOW!
• Save cash $- An average family of four uses between 1.5 and 2 rolls of papertowels a week. At approximately $2.00 per roll you could expect to save between $150.00 and $200.00 this year just by cutting up your old Tee-Shirts!  
• More closet space -So you can take the money you save on paper towels and buy new clothes...which someday may turn bag into rags!
