Using CFLs Can Save You up to 75% Off Your Lighting Costs!

At this time of year, in the North East, it's pretty dark most of the time when we're home. My wife and I slowly (over time) have replaced the standard incandescent light bulbs we had in the house with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). Because they don't require the energy draw of a conventional bulb they are more efficient and have a lower impact on the environment.

If you're in the dark about CFLs (sorry couldn't resist that) you owe it to yourself to head down to HomeDepot or your neighborhood hardware store and pick some up.The CFLs last longer, they are an easy way to go green and reportedly will save you up to 75% off lighting costs.
